Positive and negative stress

There are positive and negative Stress!

---------------------------------------------------------------------

How to know it is positive?

Positive stress is a condition in which you are stressed about the good things going to happen. It helps you face what you have to face or fix what you have to fix. In the end, it can lead you to feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment, well-being and wholeness. Positive stress tells you have no other option then succeeding and on the other hand negative stress gives you lot of tension and drifts you towards defeat.

Positive stress is the kind that pushes you to do good things, in a way that doesn't necessarily make you freak. It's called "Eu-stress." Running for class president is an example of this kind of stress.

Why  Positive Stress  create a sense motivation?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Positive stress can be looked at as that excitement you feel will someone task you with an assignment that you are eager to do. It is the feelings you get that make you push yourself to come up with new ideas, research matters and don't feel like its a burden, or to burn the extra midnight oil to finish it. Positive stress can come from happy events such as the birth of a baby, engagement, a marriage, a promotion at work or even all the stress that comes with planning for the family for a Big Christmas.

Positive stress moves us to put in the effort to succeed without us having the fears, worries and excessive expectations that come from negative stress. We are all probably going to have times in our lives that we get in over our heads. These are the times we can decide which way we want to handled our little issue. Its all in the way you see it, handle it and plan on handling it. I have had chronic anxiety for years. Sometimes I am overwhelmed with all the symptoms I get from anxiety and then there are times that I use it to kick my hiney into gear and get out and enjoy my world.

Is stress healthy For mind?

Absolutely no, stress is never healthy. For both our mind and body. With that said after a long stressful day at work, I personally do enjoy removing my tie/unbuttoning my dress shirt, taking off my dress shoes hanging up my suit and lay on the couch in my pajamas feeling a deep sense of accomplishment.

Bab stress causes anxiety and even health problems. Here’s more on the benefits and side effects of stress and how to tell if you’re experiencing too much stress.

Dis-stress is the bad kind that can make you do bad things, like pull your hair. Exams and tons of homework can do this :)

In technical terms, stress arising from negative factors (such as loss of a job, death of a loved one, breakdown of a relationship) is called ‘Distress’. This is also known as negative stress. Chronic distress can hamper performance, cause anxiety & worry, and lead to physical and mental problems

All the methods are tried and tested personally. They havd been really helpful.

You can deal with stress in the following way:

  1. RUN. This is so so helpful. Its the 2nd fastest thing possible but the most effective in all the things to cope up with stress. A 15 min run which makes you sweat can really
    1. refresh you of 10 hrs of heavy work. Even if your body is tired it also refuels and replenishes your body. The best thing to do
    2. Do things you love. Love to play drums? Cycling? Do it ! Go out !
    3. Give yourself a treat. Give yourself that chocolate cake . That lovely pudding. Indulge! And feel grateful for all the things that you have in life.
    4. Meet people that you love. Harvard has been conducting the longest survey in the world ever , which has been going on for more than 100 years to find out who are the people who stay the happiest. They found out that people with really close relations and people who stay around the people who love them have been found out to be the most happiest. So built good relations and stay close to people that really love you . Although with pandemic we cannot do now, but when it is over.
    5. Meditate. Really helpful if you do it! Yes we all read it everywhere but never ever do it. Its got so many so so many benefits that we still haven't found all of them yet.
    6. Have a bath. This is the fastest possible thing to reduce stress. But yes its not that affective. The more times you have a bath in a day , the better you will feel. I would recommend a max of 3 baths. You can make a deadly mix of meditating while having a bath. Now This Really does some magic. Try it!
    7. Dance. Now you might not believe this but do try it . It really works . You have nothing to lose here. Not the normal dance. Do that ultra crazy dance/body movement that you do when you win something or when you are really really happy. Do it even when you are sad , unhappy or really stressed. It really does help.

Yes, sometimes wouldn't work. If that happens then that means that you are depressed or are into some mental health issue. If that is there then don’t worry . Take everything slow . Consult a doctor and take care.
